Self By Design · Leonard Jacob
You have read the posts. You have watched the videos. You can affirm all day and still feel exactly the same the second you open your eyes. Assumption is not a mood you fake. It is an instruction, and there are only two windows in your day where it actually goes in.
The Core Idea
Some of the hardest working people you know are broke. Some of the laziest are rich. The difference is not effort. It is what you assume about yourself when nobody is watching. Change what runs underneath and everything downstream moves with it.
The money, the body, the person who has not texted back. That is the receipt, not the cause. Repeating words at the printout does nothing. You have to reach the place the order was actually placed.
Your conscious mind guards the gate all day and throws most of it back. It drops twice… the minute you wake and the minute before you sleep. That is when suggestion goes in. Miss those and you are just talking to yourself.
The Practice
Before your phone, before coffee. Four seven eight breath until the heaviness comes, then drop in three scripts. Present tense, felt, paired with a vivid image. Close in the end state.
Same breath, same scripts, in bed with the lights off. Fall asleep with the new order as the last thing in your mind. Sleep installs it deeper than any effort you make awake.
When the old script runs, name it and walk past. Do not argue with it. Check your state before anything that matters, make one end state decision a day, then hold through the gap until the outside catches up.
The Voices
I kept attacking the printout for years. The idea that the order was placed somewhere else entirely, that is the thing that finally moved my life.Jake Bill
Sixty days in and people around me started asking what changed. I didn’t have an explanation. I just stopped pressing play on the old recording.Jane Anderson
