If your manifestation isn’t working, I’m going to tell you something that sounds backwards. It’s because you want it.
I’m serious. Wanting is the problem. And there are two more reasons right behind it.
Reason 1: Wanting is the paper begging the printer
To want something is to assume you don’t have it. And your subconscious prints what you assume, not what you want. It doesn’t care what you want.
So the guy who wants money the hardest is broadcasting I don’t have money every minute of every day. The printer prints exactly that. He wakes up broke, wants harder, and runs the same loop.
The person who assumes they’re wealthy doesn’t want money. They expect it, like the sun coming up. This is Chapter 9 of You Are Not You, Why You Keep Printing What You Don’t Want.
Try this tonight: pick the thing you’ve been wanting. Three minutes, eyes closed. Not I will have it. It’s I have it. It’s done. It’s normal. Watch what happens to the wanting. When it gets boring, that’s when it tends to show up.
Reason 2: Your word stopped counting
You asked your mind to believe you’re rich. It watched you break every promise you ever made. Why would it believe you now?
It’s not that the law of assumption is fake, and it’s not that you did the technique wrong. So don’t start with the assumption. Start with credit.
- First 30 days: one promise, stupid small. Make the bed. A glass of water when you wake up. It doesn’t matter what it is. It matters that you never miss.
- Second 30 days: the assumption. Same time every day. Don’t edit the script halfway, every edit resets the counter.
The first thirty buys the trust. The second thirty spends it. Everybody skips straight to the spending.

Reason 3: You’re reading the old printout
You placed a new order. I’m healthy. I’m loved. I’m good with money. You held it. Then you opened your eyes and the bank account looked worse. The text never came. And your first thought was it’s not working.
That thought is the only thing that can cancel the order. What you’re looking at is the printer finishing the old job, clearing the queue. It’s not proof the new one failed.
When you see the opposite
Don’t argue with it. Don’t explain it to yourself. One breath, say your script once, silently, and walk past it. Same as coming back to the breath in meditation. The doubt gets loudest right before it breaks. Hold one more day.
Keep going: the law of assumption, without the fluff and why “trust the process” fails.
The book is You Are Not You. It isn’t out yet, but the first three chapters and the one-page protocol are free. Get them here.

Two more on wanting
Same mechanic from two other angles. The first one is the short version of why wanting it more makes it worse. The second is the one word answer.
